Stepping Out is truly passionate about what we do and we have a wide selection of weekly classes to choose from covering SE London & Kent that cater for all ages and abilities, where you will find friendly faces with welcoming smiles as well as experienced, patient teaching - all served up with a large dose of fun! In addition to our weekly classes we also host regular party nights and socials and are often asked to DJ at festivals, parties and club nights. * * * As well as teaching Line dance, Maria is a successful line dance choreographer and she also teaches Freestyle, Jazz and Street dance to children. www.urbandancefactory.co.uk.
Stepping Out was started in 1999 by Country musician, Harley Dave and his wife, Maria. Since Dave's musical and live sound career now takes him regularly all over Europe and the USA - see www.harleydave.co.uk - Stepping Out is now run solely by Maria who is a fully qualified and experienced dance teacher with the IDTA. (International Dance Teachers Association) * * * Line dancing has changed a great deal from the thigh slapping 'Yee Hah' image it once had. We now dance to a huge variety of different rhythms and music - anything from current pop or smooth soul right through to fast-paced Latin beats, and of course we still dance to Country music! But whatever your taste in music - line dancing is still a fantastic way to get fit, make new friends and learn a new skill.
